WHY I STARTED CYCLE CAMP:
If you met me four years ago, you would have met a shell of the human you see today. My confidence was at rock bottom. I felt alone and misunderstood. I longed so deeply for real, life-giving friendships… ones that were supportive, encouraging, and valued me for who I was.
Then, three years ago at an event similar to this one, my life was forever changed. I decided to throw myself out of my comfort zone and attend a health retreat in Costa Rica. I'd never been to an event like this, let alone solo travel to another country before. I was terrified of the idea of showing up to this event and no one wanting to be my friend.
But of course, my guardian angels had dropped this opportunity in my lap for a divine purpose. For the first time in my life, I felt like I was surrounded by people who understood me. People who shared my values and interests. And of course, within a few hours, I met a group of women that I still call my best friends to this day.
Two years ago, I went on a girl's trip with those same friends. We rented a beautiful home, cooked nourishing meals together, went for hikes, lounged in the sun, & stayed up all night belly laughing until it hurt. I casually shared snippets from the trip on instagram, and to my surprise, my DMs flooded with messages from women that went something like this:"Where did you find a group of friends like this?! I feel so alone. I long for friendships like this. I wish I had what you have"
I felt sick to my stomach reading these. My mind flashed back to the 20-year-old version of me who was sobbing in her boyfriend's arms, believing she would never find true friends.
In that moment, I knew I wanted to create a solution. I wanted to give all of those women the gift I had been given back in Costa Rica: a special place for like-minded women to be brought together to connect and learn… BUT this time, with a special emphasis on a heavily neglected piece of women's health— the menstrual cycle.
So, Cycle Camp was born. These retreats are the creation of my desire to give you the greatest gift I ever received. My hope is that when you attend this retreat, your life will be forever changed, in the same way mine was.

the itinerary
here's what your week at Cycle Camp will look like…
DAY 1
arrival day! this afternoon + evening will be all about settling in and getting to know one another. We'll drink mocktails, enjoy a nourishing dinner, & end the night giggling around the campfire with our new besties <3
DAY 2: FOLLICULAR PHASE
each day begins with a workout tailored to the phase of the day. after some morning movement, you can expect a day filled with delicious follicular phase themed meals, classes on cycle health, and an afternoon spent apple-picking + learning about the importance of seasonal eating
DAY 3: LUTEAL PHASE
luteal phase day is all about calm, creative energy. we'll learn about nervous system regulation, tap into our feminine energy through hands-on art projects, and move our body in nature on a beautiful hike (& of course, plenty of luteal phase themed meals!)
DAY 4: MENSTRUAL PHASE
after our routine morning workout and breakfast, we'll fill this day with lots of R&R (in true menstrual phase fashion). We'll lounge by the lake, cook nourishing foods together, & learn about our body's detoxification processes.
DAY FIVE
farewell day. we'll wrap up our final day with a delicious breakfast all together before heading back home <3
the location
While every Cycle Camp Retreat shares the same signature touches, each event does have it's own unique flavor depending on the location. This retreat is in fall in Maryland— picture orange falling leaves, apple orchards, & cool yet sunny days at a beautiful lake house (check it out here!)
With this retreat comes the quintessential northeast fall getaway. I like to think of this as a perfect blend between our calm, cozy Oregon retreat and our wild, adventurous Costa Rica retreat. We'll be going on fun hikes, jumping in the lake, and picking apples, but we'll also be baking seasonal goodies, slowly sipping coffee in the mornings, & cozied up by a campfire at night.
My vision for this retreat is simple: I want it to be the perfect reset for your mind and body, I want you to gain a deeper understanding of your health & cycle, & I want you to leave with lifelong friendships.

FAQ
What is included in my ticket price?
(Almost) everything! Accommodation is included. Breakfast, lunch & dinner are included, transportation to & from the airport is included, & all the classes and fun activities!
Flights
You will be in charge of booking & paying for your flight to the DCA airport. You must land by 2pm on Wednesday.
Lodging
The villa has 8 bedrooms, Some have king beds and some have bunk beds. You will either be sharing a king bed with another girl, or be sleeping on one of the full-size bunk beds. Slumber party!
I will try my best to match each of you with the room type you prefer, & yes, you will be able to connect with each other and choose roommates ahead of time!
Nutritional Preferences
All meals will have gluten-free and vegetarian options, I just need to know ahead of time! We will also accommodate for any allergies.
